How do we contribute to a better world?

Our Environmental Responsibility
We manufacture our games in eco-responsible factories with the desire to better respect our planet. The paper is FSC and comes from managed forests. We do not use plastic: our games and cards are wrapped with 100% compostable vegetable cellophane.

Our Social Responsibility
Our games are designed and conceived in France. They are manufactured in the EEC with an ethical supply of raw materials and in respect of human rights in terms of dignity, freedom, equality, solidarity, citizenship and justice.

Our responsible consumption
We want to offer beautiful games, in quality materials and at the right price. Encouraging responsible consumption means offering a game that we enjoy using over the years, that lasts over time and that we can easily recycle afterwards.

A green factory
Our games are produced in EEC in an eco-responsible factory built in 2020 and which respects high standards in terms of sustainable development: solar panels, energy efficiency, rainwater recovery and limitation of water consumption, waste reduction, selective sorting, preservation of biodiversity and limitation of environmental impact.

Materials and men
Our factory has chosen ethical and responsible sourcing of its raw materials and respect for fundamental human rights for its staff. The paper comes from sustainably managed forests (FSC). The inks are vegetable-based. The health and well-being of each team member is assessed and sought after.

An Ecofriendly label
Our games benefit from the Ecofriendly label for their raw materials and their responsible manufacturing method. Topla builds day after day the exciting project of offering beautiful, resistant, durable, recyclable games with a reasoned and considered impact on our planet and on people.

FSC paper
We use paper from sustainably managed forests with the FSC label.

Cardboard linen
The boxes and cards of our games are made of linen cardboard, a noble and resistant material for long-lasting use and a pleasant handling of the games.

Vegetable inks
Our games are printed with vegetable inks that are non-toxic to humans and the planet. This limits their footprint and makes them easier to recycle.

Renewable energies
Our plant harvests rainwater, deploys water-efficient processes and uses electricity from renewable sources such as solar panels.

Vegetable cellophane
Our boxes and cards are wrapped with compostable plant-based cellophane, which replaces polluting plastic film.
We take care to clean up after ourselves.
E-commerce deliveries have a carbon footprint. That's why we support leading-edge companies that remove carbon from the air.
Together, the participating companies have…
- Removed thousands of tons of carbon from the atmosphere
- Provided carbon-neutral shipping for over ten million orders
Here's how it works: For each order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated delivery emissions. Based on these estimates, a portion of our revenue is allocated to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by Carbon Direct scientists. These companies use this money to remove as much carbon as our shipments have created. Any additional funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.
Let's meet some of the companies that are eliminating emissions from our shipments.
Heirloom
Heirloom's direct air capture technology enhances the carbon mineralization process. Heirloom's technology accelerates the rate at which natural minerals capture CO₂, rather than using energy-intensive fans to draw in air.
Remora
Remora captures CO₂ from the exhaust pipes of semi-trailers while they are driving, with the CO₂ destined for long-term storage.
Charm
Charm captures CO₂ using plant waste, converts it into a stable carbon-rich liquid and stores it safely deep underground, out of reach of forest fires and soil erosion.
