6 good reasons to celebrate science!

The Science Festival is 3,000 events, exhibitions, open days and free shows and it starts tomorrow! The opportunity to finally understand why a sweater shrinks in the wash or what is a déjà vu (yes, yes all this can be explained thanks to science)! So if you too want to have the “click”, here are 6 (very) good reasons to go to the Science Festival:

1- Because this year the science festival is exceptional! Indeed, it is its 25th edition! For this anniversary like no other, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research has seen things in a big way. For the occasion, astronaut Thomas Pesquet will be the patron of this edition!

2- Foodies will find what they are looking for! The flavor and health train will crisscross the rails of France to let you taste the foods of our gastronomic heritage and their benefits for our health! Your children will be able to attend workshops and meet local artisans! Look now which stopover town is closest to you! Linking science and cooking has already been seen, right? Find our tutorials to learn maths while making cookies and preparing your snack!

3- Youtube fans will be delighted! Do your teenagers spend their lives in front of the computer watching their favorite internet stars? This week, they will be able to follow 7 scientific YouTubers who will make the web move to the rhythm of science!

On the Topla Facebook page , we also share funny and offbeat videos about maths

4- Varied activities all over France! Shows, open days, activities… Your children will be spoiled for choice to test, touch, manipulate, what makes today's science. You can now check which activities are offered in your city! Discover and experiment to learn better, that's the whole Topla philosophy! :)

5- Topla will party with you! Fans of our tutorials and lovers of our kits? Don't worry, we will be at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie all weekend from October 8-9 to offer you our kits and tips and to help your children discover math from a different angle! And next week, Topla is offering two new workshops for your little ones: Wednesday 12 at 82 avenue Denfert Rochereau to celebrate autumn and build your birdhouse and Saturday 15 at the Institut Poincaré to make your hat using math! :D We hope that many of you will celebrate math and science with us!

6 - Science allows us to understand the world around us! The Ministry of Higher Education and Research has produced interactive video campaign clips “Science helps you”! Why do we choose the wrong queue or what is déjà vu? Science surrounds us in our daily lives! :)

And we, haven't we already told you that maths is everywhere? Our Topla workshops help your children discover
