The calculations are not correct!
The results of the Timss* survey are in, French students have a lower level of mathematics than all our European neighbors. If we broaden the scope a little, it does not allow us to go up since we are in the penultimate position of the OECD** countries, an organization that brings together many countries outside Europe such as the United States, Colombia, South Korea, etc.
If we thought we could reassure ourselves by saying that the ranking is a matter of little things, it is a failure. Analysts note that France is "significantly" below the countries that are considered comparable.
In 1990, France was among the top of the rankings. Reassuringly, at that time, the English were among the bottom and today they are ranked fourth in the OECD! So all is not lost.
At Topla, we have created games to make mathematics fun and accessible. If we start early and have fun, we are more likely to enjoy this school subject but also to understand it outside of this framework. Developing your logic, your curiosity, your liveliness of mind while being prepared for the school framework, this is the program of our educational games!
