We're not going to lie to you, we're moved.

For 4 years, FOUR YEARS, Héloïse and the whole team have been working with conviction to show that all children can succeed in mathematics, that there is no inevitability, that everyone has the right and the ability to become who they want. It's a real fight, no one really believes us.

With math it's always different.

As if mathematics had a special power, which determines almost from birth whether or not you will be a "scientist", a "mathematician". NOT AT ALL! We know it, we see it every day in the eyes of children: everyone can understand, like and be good at math. It's just that we all learn in our own way.

Not letting ourselves be locked into a straitjacket of "I'm bad at math" is important, very important. Let's give our children the opportunity to choose who they want to become. Let's leave the doors wide open for them. They will tell us if they want to do, use, love math. It's simply our duty to show them that yes, they can succeed.

After these 4 years of convincing parents, teachers, politicians, friends and families that mathematics is accessible to all, we decided to film what we see every time we spend an afternoon with children. To film why we created Topla. To film this smile, this pride, this laughter, this concentration, these beautiful moments around math.

The result is incredible. The video shares the emotion we have after each workshop, the energy that the children transmit to us and that makes us want to move mountains. We want to show the video to as many people as possible, share this result and this message: All children can succeed in mathematics (and with a smile), we just need to approach them differently, really differently.
