The cute little Easter basket

The chocolate eggs are coming, but where to store them? Quick, quick! Let's make a little basket to put all the ones we find in the garden in!

To make your basket, you will need:

- two sheets of different colors

- a pencil

- a rule

- a pair of scissors

- scotch tape

Let's get started! 

Step 1

Take one of the two sheets in the direction of the height. With your ruler, measure 21 cm on the left edge of the sheet starting from the top left corner.

Step 2

On the same sheet, measure 21 cm on the right edge starting from the top right corner.

Step 3

Connect these two points to the ruler to make a square appear. Draw a line to connect these two points, then cut out your sheet following your outline carefully. Keep only the square.

Step 4

On the second sheet, measure 21 cm again on the left edge and on the right edge.

Step 5

As on the first sheet, connect these two points with the ruler, cut on the line, then keep the square.

Step 6

Place the two square sheets on top of each other. Fold everything by bringing the top left corner onto the bottom right corner. You have just folded the square on its diagonal . You obtain two similar triangles on each side of your fold. Each of these triangles represents half of the square .

Step 7

Place your triangle as shown in the diagram above, then with your ruler, measure 10.5 cm from the top point on the right side of your triangle. Mark a point. Do the same on the left side.

Step 8

Now you're going to fold the bottom left point over the point on the right line. Fold it tightly.

Step 9

Then, fold the bottom right point over the point that is on the left line. There remains a small triangle at the top of your fold. There are four leaves superimposed at this point of the fold.

Step 10

Take two leaves between your fingers and fold them towards the outside of the basket. Do the same on the other side of the basket with the two remaining leaves.

Your basket now has two colors. To make a pretty decoration appear on the top of your basket, bring the point that is at the very bottom of the triangle that you just folded, inside your basket. Do this folding on both sides of the basket!

All your basket needs is a handle! To make it, cut a thin strip of paper in the color of your choice and attach it with tape to the inside of your basket
