Paper tulips
To create your parallel tulips, it's simple, you need:
- square leaves
- wooden spikes
STEP 1
The square sheet is folded in two a first time
Then a second time in the other direction, to obtain a sheet with 4 folds like this:
We see parallel lines appear, and others which are not (called intersecting lines)
STEP 2
We fold again but this time, it is the corners that meet to create diagonals.
Some lines are parallel:
Others no
STEP 3
We gather the sheet in such a way that 3 of the 6 parallels meet and we obtain a triangle shape.
STEP 4
Each of the corners folds towards the top
To get this:
STEP 5
Unfolding, the sheets are folded in the other direction to obtain a smooth surface
STEP 6
We fold again, bringing the corners to the center.
STEP 7
All you have to do is put a stick in it and there you have it, your flower is ready!
As you can see, parallel lines have no points in common and will never intersect!
All you have to do is go plant your tulip or give it to someone! :)
