5 (great) books to read to our children
1. “100 Great Women in History” 👩🏽⚖️
" Do you know Enheduanna, the first poetess in history? Cleopatra, the famous queen of Egypt? The learned Hypatia of Alexandria? Tomoe Gozen, Jane Austen, Josephine Baker, Anastasia… Do you know in which century and in which country they lived, and why they became famous? " It is around 100 famous characters that our children will be able to identify with these women who changed history. And yes, it is not only men who have participated in history ;)

2. Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls ✨
Having the book "Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls" is to equip yourself with an inspiring book to allow girls to dream big through a hundred exceptional women. The initiators of this project worked with 60 artists. A beautiful book so that from a young age, children see these women as a source of inspiration, and above all, that everyone is free to do what they want. What if our girls became future scientists, future adventurers, future astronauts? ;)

3. Little feminist 🙅🏻
These nice little books, grouped together in the form of a set of 4 books: The pioneers, the artists, the leaders, and the activists. These pocket books allow (as well as the previous ones) to develop our children's culture on the history of these inspiring icons of history. Another more fun way to approach the history of the world and to become aware of equality through the great figures of our centuries and past centuries.

4. Dining in the backhoe ☕️🚜
A clever book that helps children understand that toys are not just for girls or boys. "The Annabelle doll who dreamed of playing with a backhoe meets the Big Jim figurine who loves play food. Boys and girls finally share their toys and games in a catalog with purple pages." A story that also recalls the purple of The Moon Project. Equality is not a dream. This is enough to give children all the keys to understanding equality 🙌

5. Let's go girls: 🏃🏃🏿
"En avant les filles" a book that lives up to its name since it traces the life of women 💪. On the one hand in a biological way with approaches on work, physical appearance and on the other hand by highlighting the icons that our children know. A book intended mainly for pre-teen girls, to help them - also - identify with female role models. A book advocating equality, which breathes Girl Power and which destroys stereotypes. The perfect mix to understand even "if being born a girl is not always easy", it is not a limit ;)

You now have the opportunity to redo part of your library. These are books mainly for girls, because the goal is to make them realize that they have the ability as much as their friends to do what they want. It is obvious that these books are also to be read to our boys who will already be able to integrate that women, girls are just like them, capable of reaching the moon! Happy reading 📚
